Marry Me sauce is a love story between sun-dried tomatoes and cream. This veggie version of the viral hit is super luscious with sour cream. You’ll love the warm garlic bread on the side for lapping it all up.

  • 50g Diced onions
  • 15ml Minced garlic
  • 120g Baby greens (lettuce mix, baby spinach, kale or arugula)
  • 30g Sliced sun-dried tomatoes
  • 30ml Tomato paste
  • 398ml Chickpeas (canned)
  • 125g Halloumi
  • 200ml Milk
  • 43ml Sour cream
  • 2 Garlic focaccia buns
  • 10g Garlic & Sweet Pepper spices (sugar, garlic, red pepper bell, vinegar powder, yeast extract, green pepper bell, salt, canola oil, paprika, cellulose, turmeric, Cayenne pepper, citric acid)

Preparation

Start the vegetables

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F.

  • In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium.

  • Add the cherry tomatoes, onions, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, tomato paste, spices and S&P.

  • Sauté, slightly crushing the tomatoes, 3 to 4 min., until fragrant.

Finish the vegetables

  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas.

  • To the pan, add the chickpeas, milk and ¼ cup water (double for 4 portions); bring to a boil.

  • Reduce to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, 3 to 5 min., until slightly reduced.

  • Add the spinach and cook, stirring often, 30 sec. to 1 min., until wilted.

  • Off the heat, add the sour cream and S&P; stir well.

Make the garlic bread

  • Meanwhile, halve the focaccia horizontally.

  • Warm in the toaster.

  • Transfer to cutting board and spread with 1 tbsp butter (double for 4 portions).

  • Halve crosswise on an angle.

Plate your dish

  • Divide the vegetables between your bowls.

  • Serve the garlic bread on the side. Bon appétit!
