Meet the potato salad with the mostest. Inspired by German cuisine, it’s got a lush sour cream dressing and it’s pumped with kid-friendly veggies, like cukes and peas. Complete with savoury beef patties, these plates hit the table in 20 minutes.

Preparation

Boil the potatoes & peas

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

  • Peel and medium-dice the potatoes.

  • Add to the pot of boiling water and boil, 14 to 16 min., until very tender.

  • In the last 2 min., add the peas.

  • Drain and allow to cool.

  • Reserve the pot.

Mise en place

  • Meanwhile, mince the garlic.

  • Medium-dice the cucumbers.

Prepare & cook the patties

  • In a large bowl, combine the beef, spices, ⅔ of the garlic and S&P.

  • Form into 4 patties.

  • In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium-high.

  • Add the patties* and cook, 3 to 5 min. per side, until browned and cooked through.

Make the potato salad

  • Meanwhile, in the reserved pot, combine the cucumbers, mayo, sour cream, remaining garlic and S&P.

  • Add the potatoes and peas; toss well.

Plate your dish

  • Divide the patties and potato salad between your plates. Bon appétit!
